Jazz Quartet in McGolrick Park
Hosted by the Open Space Alliance of North Brooklyn. 

Local pianist Jesse Lynch is known for his Vortex Jazz Series, a underground monthly event held in his loft in the industrial section of Greenpoint. The Vortex brings together rotating sets of jazz musicians performing both new compositions and jazz standards in an intimate, casual setting. On Thursday August 16th, the Vortex comes to McGolrick Park for a special outdoor summer performance, featuring Moppa Elliott on bass, Jerad Lippi on drums, Bobby Spellman on trumpet, and Jesse Lynch on keys.
